언뜻보면 현대회화처럼 보이지만 변형된 인물과 정물, 다양한 작품에서 반복되는 모티프는 실제로 결코 존재할 수 없는 풍경 등을 작업한다.

긴 시간 작가는 그만의 고유한 그림을 그려내기 위해 노력했고 50대에 이르러서 현재의 스타일로 정착하기 시작했다. 정답이 없는 오랜 시간동안 작가는 자신의 스타일을 만드는 과정에서 “화가들은 완벽한 조합을 찾기위해 노력해야한다. 작은 벽이라도 끝없는 형태와 색 조합이 가능하기 때문이다” 라고 이야기 하기도 하며 화가들의 끝없는 노력을 강조하기도 했다.
요시무라의 작품에는 각각의 이야기가 담겨 있는 듯하다.
이야기에 대해 이야기는 어디까지나 문장 속에서 즐기는 것이며, 이야기와 회화가 결합되는 것은 알기쉬워지는 반면 감상자의 상상력을 쇠약하게 한다고 말한다. 그 때문인지 편집된 이야기의 한 장면을 그려낸 듯한 작가의 작품에서는 그 어떠한 언어적 부연설명이 필요없다. 오롯이 이미지를 본 후의 상상만이 남아있을 뿐이다. 그리고 이러한 상상의 요소가 그만의 화풍과 더불어 요시무라의 작품이 유일무이한 그만의 회화일 수 있는 이유가 되는 듯 하다.

During the process of finding his own style, he emphasizes the endless effort artists must put in, stating, "Painters must strive to find the perfect combination, as even a small wall can offer endless possibilities of form and color."
Yoshimura's works seem to contain individual stories within them. However, he suggests that enjoying the stories should be limited to the sentences, as the combination of storytelling and painting can easily diminish the viewer's imagination. Perhaps that is why in the artist's paintings, which resemble scenes from edited stories, there is no need for any linguistic explanation. Only the imagination after seeing the images remains. It is this element of imagination that, along with Yoshimura's unique painting style, makes his works truly distinctive in the realm of art.
