This year, Gallery Woo presents works by Han Choong-seok, Yoshimura Munehiro, Bang zi-young, and Mayuka Yamamoto.
Bringing together four artists with distinct perspectives and visual languages, the presentation offers a glimpse into the different worlds and narratives explored through their works.

In his recent works, Han Choong-seok has been exploring scenes set against the sea. To Stand on This Land reflects the artist’s desire to remain grounded and hold on to his sense of self, even in difficult circumstances.

Relationship Practice features one of Han Choong-seok’s recurring subjects: owls gathered in a birch forest. The many owls appear to gaze outward, creating the subtle impression that they are watching us as much as we are watching them.
Yoshimura Munehiro’s new paintings draw viewers in with their subtle and intriguing charm.
Parent-Child Swimming Class

Yoshimura Munehiro creates scenes that feel familiar at first glance, yet reveal a subtle sense of strangeness the longer we look. In Parent-Child Swimming Class, an everyday moment becomes quietly intriguing through the artist’s distinctive composition and atmosphere, drawing the viewer to pause and look again.
Lastly, we introduce a new work by Bang Zi-young.
